Once a cult hero of the DAW world, FL Studio is one of the most popular music production packages going. Here, Novation treat all FL fans to a tasty and tactile production tool that's been designed from the ground up to provide a seamless workflow when teamed up with FL Studio. The Novation FLKEY-61 USB/MIDI keyboard comes loaded with sixteen colour-coded performance pads, a bank of eight encoders, a complete transport section, some exclusive controls for walking through various FL Studio functions and, since this is the largest model in the series, there's even space for a bank of nine faders. Basically, this keyboard offers FL Studio devotees a physical, hands-on interface that can actually be played. On top of that, this Novation offering comes with a fat stack of software, including a trial version of FL Studio Producer Edition and a library of virtual instruments made by some of the best.

Ik keek er eigenlijk van op dat er voor FL Studio zo weinig specifieke gear bestond, ondanks dat het een van de eerste DAW's is! Na diverse uitstapjes naar andere DAW's weer terug bij FL Studio omdat hier toch mij basis ligt.
En wat het nu allemaal nog wat completer maakt is de FL key 61 die nu onderdeel uitmaakt van mijn FL Studio set-up. Elke keer ontdek ik weer nieuwe mogelijkheden!
Momenteel de beste midi-keyboard voor FL Studio gebruikers. Perfecte DAW integratie en samen met de scripts die verkrijgbaar zijn op het Image-Line forum kun je tot 200+ 3rd party plugins ook automatisch linken (rotary knobs en faders doen dan verschillende effecten bedienen).
Het schermpje mag van mij wel wat groter en ook de toetsen zelf zijn niet geweldig. Ik had liever de toetsen van de SL61 MK3 hierop gewild. Maar goed, je kan niet alles hebben :)
